<p>Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) program. As a Staff Accountant in the FTEP program, you will work on a variety of client engagements to support their accounting and financial operations while gaining hands-on experience in their field.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform accurate and timely data entry for accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger transactions</li><li>Assist in bank and account reconciliations, ensuring proper documentation and resolution of discrepancies.</li><li>Prepare journal entries and maintain account records for monthly and yearly closings.</li><li>Support the preparation of financial statements and reports under supervision.</li><li>Help compile budgets and forecasts by collaborating with senior accountants and finance teams.</li><li>Conduct variance analysis, providing details on deviations from budgets or plans</li><li>Comply with all applicable regulations and adherence to company guidelines, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Engage in quality control tasks, such as reviewing financial data and assisting with audits or assessments.</li><li>Foster professional relationships while serving Robert Half's diverse client base.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Strong understanding of debits, credits, and accounting principles.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with accounting software is a plus.</li><li>Detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and clients.</li><li>Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adapting to varied client environments.</li></ul><p><br></p>
