Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Tonawanda, New York. This Contract to permanent position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in managing accounts payable and receivable for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ensuring seamless client interactions and accurate data handling.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and post 20-50 invoices daily with precision and efficiency.<br>• Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks for a portfolio of 40-50 clients.<br>• Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to perform daily accounting tasks.<br>• Learn and apply company-specific software to complete responsibilities after training.<br>• Ensure all billing and data entry tasks are completed accurately and on time.<br>• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth workflow and meet deadlines.<br>• Handle high volumes of transactions while maintaining focus and attention to detail.<br>• Adapt to a dynamic work environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.<br>• Skilled in invoice processing and data entry.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Excellent communication abilities for client interactions.<br>• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.<br>• Experience in account reconciliations is highly desirable but not mandatory.
