Human Resource/ Executive Assistant
<p>Our client in Toledo is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented <strong>Human Resource/Executive Assistant</strong> to join their team. This role encompasses overseeing all aspects of human resources, including policy development, benefits administration, recruiting, compliance with employment laws, and fostering positive employee relations. The position will also involve coordinating organizational charts, workforce metrics, and internal staff events. In addition to HR functions, this role includes executive-level administrative responsibilities, such as managing the President and CEO’s calendar, coordinating board meetings, preparing meeting materials, and handling office operations and supplies. This dual role requires excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills to ensure seamless HR processes and executive support.</p>
<ul><li>Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and relevant federal, state, and local employment laws.</li><li>Proficiency in managing benefits administration, and retirement plan contributions.</li><li>Experience with full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, including conducting job analyses and developing job descriptions.</li><li>Knowledge of employee relations practices and ability to resolve sensitive issues professionally.</li><li>Skilled at maintaining organizational charts and analyzing workforce metrics (e.g., turnover, diversity).</li><li>Prior experience coordinating compliance with EEO regulations and maintaining FCC EEO reports.</li><li>Excellent organizational and event-planning skills for internal activities and staff recognition events.</li><li>Proven administrative experience supporting executive-level leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and communication tasks.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with benefits brokers, legal counsel, and high-level stakeholders.</li><li>High level of discretion when handling confidential information and employee issues.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant HR software/tools is a plus.</li></ul>
