Data Entry Clerk
We are looking for a skilled Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Sterling Heights, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data related to healthcare benefits while ensuring high attention to detail and efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work with a detail-oriented team in the health insurance industry, utilizing your data entry expertise to support critical operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Enter and manage large volumes of healthcare benefits data with accuracy and precision.<br>• Review and validate coordination of benefits information to ensure compliance and accuracy.<br>• Provide administrative support to the team by assisting with data-related tasks as needed.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data effectively.<br>• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information at all times.<br>• Communicate with team members to clarify data discrepancies and resolve issues.<br>• Adhere to established procedures and guidelines for data management and entry.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless processing of information.<br>• Use medical terminology knowledge to interpret and input relevant data accurately.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry or a related field.<br>• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.<br>• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare benefits is preferred.<br>• Knowledge of Coordination of Benefits is highly desirable.<br>• Ability to work independently with reliable, high-speed internet for remote tasks.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Excellent communication skills for resolving discrepancies and collaborating with the team.<br>• Comfortable using company-provided equipment such as laptops, monitors, and other peripherals.
