<p>Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal or experienced Legal Assistant to assist our client on a temporary basis. This is a contract position and is onsite at our client's office near St. Paul, Minnesota. In this position, you will play a key role in managing workers' compensation cases and ensuring all legal processes are handled efficiently. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, career-focused, and adept at meeting critical deadlines. </p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><p>• Manage workers' compensation cases, including filing and tracking deadlines with precision.</p><p>• Prepare and organize discovery materials to support legal proceedings.</p><p>• Assist with trial preparation, ensuring all case materials are ready and accessible.</p><p>• Utilize case management software to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.</p><p>• Coordinate calendars, schedules, and filings to ensure smooth case management.</p><p>• Conduct legal research related to workers' compensation laws.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and stakeholders regarding case progress.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and deadlines.</p><p>• Handle administrative tasks related to case management and filings.</p><p>• Provide support in resolving legal issues and disputes within workers' compensation cases.</p>

<p>• 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation law</p><p>• Proficiency in case management software and legal document preparation.</p><p>• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.</p><p>• Experience with discovery processes and trial preparation.</p><p>• Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and legal procedures.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with attorneys and clients.</p><p>• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</p><p>• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.</p>
