We are looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join our team in Woodbury, Minnesota. This role is focused on managing product liability claims for EcoWater North America, ensuring efficient handling and resolution of cases while minimizing legal risks. As part of a long-term contract position, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver effective solutions and maintain compliance standards. Responsibilities: • Oversee the entire lifecycle of product liability claims, from initial intake to resolution. • Conduct thorough investigations by gathering and analyzing evidence, including documentation such as warranties and product specifications. • Prioritize claims based on their severity, financial exposure, and customer impact. • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal counsel, quality assurance, and product development, to determine the root causes of issues and establish appropriate resolutions. • Negotiate settlements with external legal counsel and insurers to minimize financial and reputational risks. • Maintain clear and timely communication with claimants, dealers, field teams, and leadership regarding claim statuses and resolution processes. • Ensure accurate documentation of claims and resolutions in compliance with regulatory standards. • Generate periodic reports to identify trends in product liability claims and support financial reporting. • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align compliance and risk mitigation strategies. • Serve as a liaison with external legal counsel, insurers, and regulatory bodies regarding claims and compliance matters.

• Proven expertise in handling product liability claims, including investigation and resolution processes. • Strong familiarity with legal terminology and procedures related to claims management. • Exceptional analytical skills paired with negotiation and communication abilities. • Demonstrated experience with discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation. • Proficiency in case management software and managing insurance claims. • A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in claims administration or a related field. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. • Commitment to upholding regulatory compliance and risk management practices.
