We are looking for a dedicated Plant Controller to oversee financial operations and provide strategic guidance for a manufacturing facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational leadership. The position requires a proactive approach to managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency. Responsibilities:• Manage month-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.• Oversee the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.• Collaborate with operations teams to optimize financial performance and cost management.• Lead efforts to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.• Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.• Supervise accounting staff and provide mentorship to enhance team capabilities.• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and improve operational efficiency.• Support strategic planning by providing financial data and recommendations.• Coordinate audits and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes.

• Proven experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Familiarity with compliance standards and internal controls. • Effective communication and leadership skills for team collaboration. • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA is preferred.
