We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Solon, Ohio. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cost accounting, general ledger management, and financial oversight in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting practices, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities: • Conduct product costing, cost analysis, and variance reporting to support manufacturing operations. • Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries related to inventory and production activities. • Monitor inventory levels and oversee weekly reviews and the closure of completed work orders. • Supervise physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards. • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring alignment with the general ledger. • Maintain prepaid and accrual schedules, making necessary monthly adjustments. • Prepare and execute monthly journal entries, including recurring entries, to support financial closings. • Assist in preparing for annual audits and responding to auditor inquiries. • Supervise the accounts receivable/accounts payable specialist, ensuring efficient invoicing, payment application, and vendor management. • Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations and update cash forecasting tools as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. • At least 5 years of accounting experience, including cost accounting in a manufacturing environment. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Experience with month-end closings, general ledger management, and account reconciliations. • Familiarity with inventory controls and cost analysis in manufacturing settings.
