<p>Robert Half is partnering with a law firm in the Greater Providence area in their search for a Paralegal to join their practice. This role is fully in-office and the firm practices within consumer collections. </p><p><br></p><ul><li>Prepare and file legal documents related to debt collection matters, including complaints, motions, and discovery.</li><li>Draft and review motions for summary judgment and judgment on the pleadings.</li><li>Manage case files and court calendars.</li><li>Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.</li><li>Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy.</li><li>Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filings in District Court.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in debt collection or civil litigation.</li><li>Familiarity with District Court procedures in RI and/or MA.</li><li>Strong legal writing and research skills.</li><li>Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Drafting and filing motions for summary judgment and judgment on the pleadings.</li><li>Experience with electronic filing systems in RI and MA courts.</li></ul><p><br></p>
