We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our established client in Seattle, Washington. This long-term contract position offers a hybrid work environment, with a preference for three days a week in the office. As the Finance Manager, you will oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, reporting, and team management, ensuring efficient operations and compliance. Responsibilities:• Prepare detailed budget documents to support financial planning and decision-making.• Update and refine forecast models to provide accurate projections.• Conduct comprehensive reviews of academic financial programs, including proforma analyses.• Lead financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.• Supervise key financial functions, including budgeting, reporting, banking/treasury, and audits.• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement processes, and financial systems.• Provide oversight for conference and event services, as well as bookstore operations.• Lead a team of approximately eight employees, including student workers, fostering collaboration and productivity.

• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Strong skills in financial modeling and analysis. • Expertise in forecasting and developing accurate financial projections. • Knowledge of budgeting and financial planning strategies. • Familiarity with Workday Finance or similar financial management systems. • Ability to manage teams effectively and oversee multiple financial functions. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
