We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Savannah, Georgia. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic accounting team while enhancing your expertise in accuracy and accounting principles.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and employee expense reports with accuracy and efficiency.<br>• Perform accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.<br>• Oversee customer credit management to maintain financial integrity.<br>• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the organization's accounting system.<br>• Reconcile accounts and assist in resolving any discrepancies in financial data.<br>• Support the accounting team with general administrative tasks and projects.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.<br>• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred; recent graduates with strong academic backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.<br>• Proficiency in using accounting systems, with SAP experience being highly desirable.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.<br>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.<br>• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing functions.<br>• Competence in account reconciliation and general accounting principles.
