This position involves providing legal expertise in media and entertainment, with a focus on contracts and music licensing. As a contract opportunity, this role offers the potential for long-term collaboration based on performance and fit. Responsibilities:• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards.• Manage rights clearances, including those related to music and other content.• Assist in handling vendor agreements and general transactions.• Provide guidance on intellectual property clauses and indemnification terms.• Utilize proprietary software and shared drives to manage legal documentation.• Maintain clear and organized communication with stakeholders and team members.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in media and entertainment.• Strong knowledge of contracts, licensing agreements, and corporate governance.• Familiarity with rights clearances processes, particularly in music and content.• Proficiency in legal software and document management systems.• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining effective communication.
