We are looking for an experienced Project Cost Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Santa Clarita, California. In this role, you will oversee cost management processes, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cost estimating, financial analysis, and project controls, as well as proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Primavera P6, Viewpoint Vista, and EcoSys.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and implement cost control procedures using tools such as EcoSys and Viewpoint Vista.<br>• Monitor and analyze project expenses against budgets, providing variance analysis and trend forecasts.<br>• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to integrate cost data with schedules and plans.<br>• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including direct, indirect, and contingency costs.<br>• Validate and review contractor and vendor cost reports for accuracy and completeness.<br>• Generate cost performance reports and present findings to senior leadership.<br>• Maintain accurate project cost data in relevant systems and ensure it is up-to-date.<br>• Support financial forecasting, risk assessments, and change management processes.<br>• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support project objectives.

<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.</p><p>• At least 5 years of experience in project cost control, financial analysis, or cost engineering.</p><p>• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Viewpoint Vista, and EcoSys is preferred</p><p>• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting principles.</p><p>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.</p><p>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.</p><p>• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.</p><p>• Experience with large-scale infrastructure or construction projects is preferred.</p>
