Trial Paralegal
<p>We are partnering with a national AmLaw 100 firm to source an experienced Trial Paralegal for its San Francisco litigation team. This is a long-term temp-to-hire opportunity for a seasoned professional with proven in-court trial support experience, including war room management, courtroom logistics, and hands-on assistance throughout trial proceedings, while also supporting attorneys across all phases of litigation.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide hands-on trial support, including war room set-up, exhibit management, witness coordination, and courtroom logistics across various jurisdictions</li><li>Prepare trial binders, demonstratives, witness kits, and jury instructions; track exhibits and assist attorneys during live trial proceedings</li><li>Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, reviewing and analyzing documents, and supporting preparation for hearings, depositions, and mediations</li><li>Manage discovery, including propounding/responding to written discovery and overseeing document productions</li><li>Perform factual and legal research, cite-checking, and drafting of discovery responses and privilege logs</li><li>Handle calendaring, docket deadlines, and e-filing in state and federal courts</li><li>Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth trial operations</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Undergraduate degree and/or an ABA-approved paralegal certificate required</li><li>5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with direct trial experience (must have attended and supported multiple trials)</li><li>Familiarity with California State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure</li><li>Proficiency with litigation technology, including Relativity, Concordance, iManage, CompuLaw, TrialDirector/Sanction, and MS Office</li><li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform in high-pressure trial environments</li><li>Must be based in the Bay Area and able to attend court in person</li></ul><p> </p>
