Inventory Clerk
We are looking for a dedicated Inventory Clerk to join our creative studio in San Francisco, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing and organizing textile samples while supporting the design team with inventory-related tasks. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment focused on interiors and high-end design.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Organize and maintain the textile sample storage area, ensuring materials are properly labeled and easy to locate.<br>• Catalog new samples in the inventory management system with accuracy and efficiency.<br>• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the reordering of materials and samples as required.<br>• Assist design team members in preparing and sourcing sample sets for client presentations.<br>• Provide a welcoming and detail-oriented approach when interacting with clients visiting the studio.<br>• Handle incoming shipments, inspect materials, and arrange proper storage.<br>• Safely use ladders to access and organize items stored on higher shelves.<br>• Collaborate with operations and design teams to complete additional inventory or administrative tasks as needed.
• Previous experience in inventory management or office organization is preferred.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.<br>• Interest in textiles, design, or interior spaces is advantageous.<br>• Physical ability to lift boxes and use ladders to access high shelves.<br>• Proficiency with inventory tracking systems or willingness to learn new software.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.<br>• Must be available to work on-site in San Francisco, California.
