We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in San Francisco, California, this role focuses on overseeing financial operations for multifamily property portfolios within the real estate investment sector. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background and a proven ability to manage complex financial reporting processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage the financial operations for multiple multifamily property units, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.<br>• Perform month-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.<br>• Prepare and review general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy.<br>• Oversee financial statement audits and ensure timely completion.<br>• Handle expense management using Concur and ensure proper documentation.<br>• Conduct bond reporting related to real estate investments.<br>• Utilize accounting software such as Yardi and RealPage for property management tasks.<br>• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.<br>• Generate detailed financial reports for management review.

• At least 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on real estate investment or property management.<br>• Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.<br>• Expertise in financial statement audits and account reconciliation.<br>• Advanced knowledge of journal entries and financial reporting.<br>• Experience with accounting software, specifically Yardi, RealPage, and Concur.<br>• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.<br>• Familiarity with bond reporting in the real estate sector.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
