Accountant
We are looking for a meticulous and dependable Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will handle essential financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, and media account reconciliations. Your attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines will be vital in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process vendor invoices promptly and ensure accurate approvals and reconciliations.<br>• Prepare and issue client invoices while tracking incoming payments and managing aging reports.<br>• Assist in month-end closing procedures and prepare documentation for audits and financial statements.<br>• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping tasks.<br>• Monitor and track media vendor accounts, including prepayments and liabilities.<br>• Review media spend reports for accuracy and maintain clear financial records.<br>• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data to maintain seamless operations.<br>• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.<br>• Maintain organized records and support compliance with financial regulations.
• At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.<br>• Expertise in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.<br>• Strong attention to detail and a high level of organizational ability.<br>• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.<br>• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Preferred experience in advertising, media, or detail-oriented industries.<br>• Familiarity with project accounting tools or time-tracking platforms is a plus.
