We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in San Diego, California. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting year-end processes, including account reconciliations and audit preparation. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and expertise in accounting systems and tools.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.<br>• Prepare documentation and support for annual audits.<br>• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.<br>• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate records of financial activities.<br>• Create and post journal entries to reflect financial data appropriately.<br>• Assist with month-end close procedures, including reviewing and adjusting accounts.<br>• Utilize QuickBooks Online and Bill.com to manage accounting tasks efficiently.<br>• Perform advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs and HLOOKUPs, to analyze and organize data.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including experience with VLOOKUPs and HLOOKUPs.<br>• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.<br>• Proven ability to perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.<br>• Familiarity with general ledger and journal entry processes.<br>• Experience with month-end close procedures.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
