This role is perfect for a skilled finance professional who is passionate about advancing meaningful causes while leveraging their expertise to ensure financial stability and transparency.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and regulations.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support organizational initiatives and programs.</li><li>Ensure adherence to grant tracking and reporting requirements, maintaining compliance with funding guidelines.</li><li>Work closely with leadership and program managers to provide financial analysis and insights to improve decision-making processes.</li><li>Oversee payroll processing and collaborate with the HR team to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Support annual audits and prepare documentation for auditors.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>CPA certification or nonprofit accounting experience is a strong plus.</li><li>3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Familiarity with GAAP and nonprofit financial reporting standards.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.</li></ul>
