Customer Service Representative
We are looking for an organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in Salinas, California. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring smooth and efficient customer order processes. The role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail while supporting order fulfillment and customer inquiries.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Enter and maintain customer orders accurately within the order fulfillment system using word processing and spreadsheet tools.<br>• Monitor order progress to ensure timely deliveries that align with customer commitments and forecast allocations.<br>• Receive and book orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.<br>• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests, providing clear and precise communication.<br>• Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders under supervision.<br>• Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient account coverage and support overall team objectives.<br>• Utilize office functions and tools to streamline customer service operations.<br>• Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all transactions and communications.<br>• Participate in team activities to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
• Proven experience in customer service or a related field, ideally 0-2 years.<br>• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.<br>• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and tools.<br>• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.<br>• Experience handling documentation and correspondence professionally.<br>• Ability to monitor and manage delivery schedules effectively.
