We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely transactions. • Prepare and record journal entries, maintaining compliance with accounting standards. • Perform thorough bank reconciliations to confirm accuracy of financial records. • Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly categorized and documented. • Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and analyze financial data. • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and audits. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial statements. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. • Proficiency in preparing and recording journal entries. • Strong skills in performing bank reconciliations. • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online. • Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract role. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
