File Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this long-term contract role, you will play an essential part in organizing, scanning, and managing physical and digital records to ensure efficient access and storage. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the seamless operation of document management processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Organize and maintain physical records to ensure easy retrieval when needed.<br>• Scan paper documents to create accurate digital copies for electronic filing.<br>• Verify the quality and accuracy of scanned files before storing them in digital systems.<br>• Label and categorize files systematically to enhance accessibility.<br>• Handle file boxes and other materials required for efficient document management.<br>• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive member or account records.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline the filing process and enhance operational efficiency.<br>• Ensure compliance with organizational standards for document management.<br>• Regularly audit files to identify and correct discrepancies in records.
• At least 2 years of experience in file management or a similar role.<br>• Proficiency in scanning and digitizing documents using appropriate equipment.<br>• Familiarity with electronic filing systems and digital record-keeping processes.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to handle physical file boxes and manage large volumes of documents.<br>• Knowledge of confidentiality practices for handling sensitive information.<br>• Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with team members.
