Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. This position involves assisting customers with inquiries while delivering outstanding service and demonstrating empathy. As part of a government-focused role, you will handle housing-related queries and ensure customer satisfaction through attentive and precise communication.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Address incoming calls promptly and efficiently, aiming to resolve inquiries during the initial conversation.<br>• Provide accurate responses to customer inquiries related to Low Income Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program.<br>• Conduct follow-ups on transferred calls to ensure all customer concerns are fully resolved.<br>• Uphold customer satisfaction by adhering to established service quality standards.<br>• Participate in mandatory training sessions to stay informed about updated policies and practices.<br>• Utilize approved scripts and guidelines to assess situations and determine whether issues can be resolved immediately or require escalation.<br>• Accurately input call details into the organization's computer system for documentation purposes.
• Proven experience in call center or customer service roles.<br>• Strong communication skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism.<br>• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls effectively.<br>• Proficient in order entry and maintaining accurate records.<br>• Knowledge of housing programs and government services is a plus.<br>• Capable of working within established processes and scripts.<br>• Adept at handling multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
