We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This is a long-term contract position within the aerospace industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting practices and a demonstrated ability to handle revenue-related reconciliations and reporting.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage accounts receivable processes, including revenue recognition and account reconciliations.<br>• Prepare and post manual journal entries with accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Conduct intercompany activity reviews and ensure proper accrual entries are recorded.<br>• Perform reconciliations for 10-15 accounts related to revenue, ensuring compliance and accuracy.<br>• Generate financial reports, such as trial balance, profit and loss statements, and general ledger transaction activity.<br>• Assist in the month-end close process, including running reports and validating data.<br>• Support auditors by providing requested documentation, pulling data, and offering insights.<br>• Analyze costs and provide detailed reports to support decision-making processes.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless accounting operations and compliance with standards.

• Proven experience in accounts receivable and revenue recognition processes.<br>• Strong competency in account reconciliations and manual journal entries.<br>• Familiarity with financial reporting, including trial balances, P& L statements, and general ledger activity.<br>• Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Epicor.<br>• Ability to excel in a fast-paced manufacturing or aerospace environment.<br>• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in managing financial data.<br>• Experience with month-end close processes and intercompany transactions.<br>• Capability to support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and data.
