Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a motivated Accounting Clerk to join a growing property management company in Portland, Oregon. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone eager to enhance their accounting skills while contributing to a fast-paced and collaborative team environment. The role is fully onsite and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable and other related tasks.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and record invoices accurately and efficiently within the accounting system.<br>• Review and verify invoice details to ensure compliance with company policies.<br>• Perform high-volume data entry tasks to maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.<br>• Assist with accounts payable functions, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies.<br>• Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and address urgent accounting needs.<br>• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive financial information.<br>• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.<br>• Participate in team meetings to share updates and contribute to process improvements.<br>• Ensure adherence to deadlines and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.<br>• Provide additional support to the accounting team as needed.
• At least 1 year of experience in an accounting or data entry role.<br>• Proficiency in accounts payable processes and invoice management.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume tasks.<br>• Familiarity with accounting software or systems is preferred.<br>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.<br>• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.<br>• A proactive and adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn new skills.<br>• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling financial data.
