We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join us on a contract basis in Plymouth, Minnesota. This role offers a minimum one-month opportunity to assist a valued client with critical data challenges. You will leverage your expertise in Power BI and data engineering to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making during a key organizational restructuring.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Analyze the client's current data systems, practices, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.<br>• Develop and implement effective data strategies that align with business objectives and future needs.<br>• Create and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver meaningful insights.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.<br>• Document processes, findings, and recommendations to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.<br>• Provide day-to-day support for data analysis and reporting needs.<br>• Identify opportunities to enhance data collection, storage, and visualization practices.<br>• Ensure data solutions comply with governance and security standards.<br>• Act as a trusted advisor, offering expertise in data modeling and analytics.<br>• Work independently to deliver high-quality results within the contract period.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or consulting roles.<br>• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including report creation and data modeling.<br>• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools.<br>• Experience working with Apache Spark.<br>• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.<br>• Effective communication abilities to convey complex data concepts to diverse stakeholders.<br>• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.<br>• Adaptable to dynamic environments and capable of working independently.
