Data Entry Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting claims processes within the financial services industry. This is a long-term contract opportunity that requires exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform thorough initial claim reviews to determine the appropriate application of coverage and assess the completeness of required claim documentation.<br>• Request missing documents as needed to process claims and ensure accurate settlement recommendations.<br>• Manage claims closures, including processing withdrawals and non-pursued claims, while adhering to carrier-specific guidelines.<br>• Track damage appraisals to ensure service level agreements are met and reassign appraisals as needed.<br>• Review initial damage appraisals and determine appropriate next steps, including reassigning claims to adjusters based on vehicle assessments.<br>• Provide support for total loss and salvage claims by documenting files and communicating relevant details to adjusters.<br>• Collaborate with licensed adjusters to process claims within underwriting guidelines.<br>• Maintain consistent follow-up on claims and ensure all necessary information is gathered for accurate adjudication.<br>• Utilize tracking systems to query coverage details and request quick issue certificates when applicable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and accuracy in handling detailed information.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.<br>• Ability to review and analyze claims documentation thoroughly.<br>• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.<br>• Prior experience in claims processing or a related field is an advantage.<br>• Knowledge of financial services industry processes is preferred.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively with adjusters and meet service level agreements.
