We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Piperton, Tennessee. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing invoice processing, resolving discrepancies, and supporting reconciliation tasks. Responsibilities: • Process a high volume of invoices daily, including drop shipments and stock items. • Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices to ensure accurate inventory management. • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by performing detailed problem-solving. • Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and quality teams to identify and address issues. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective resolutions. • Utilize software tools, including cloud-based systems, to streamline accounts payable tasks. • Perform basic Excel functions such as creating formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs. • Support reconciliation efforts, addressing backlogs and audit-related tasks. • Proactively ask questions and suggest improvements to enhance processes.

• Proven experience in accounts payable functions, including invoice coding and processing. • Strong skills in resolving account discrepancies and addressing audit findings. • Familiarity with 3-way matching for purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices. • Proficiency in Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs. • Ability to process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency. • Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration. • Comfortable with using software tools and adapting to cloud-based systems. • Strong analytical abilities for problem-solving and process improvement.
