<p>We are seeking a <strong>DevOps Engineer II</strong> to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves designing, developing, implementing, and analyzing technical products and systems while ensuring operational excellence and continuous delivery.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, implement, and analyze technical products and systems.</li><li>Perform engineering design evaluations and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and processes.</li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production software issues.</li><li>Develop monitoring solutions, perform software maintenance, and implement fixes.</li><li>Establish standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness.</li><li>Recommend testing techniques and process improvements.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.</li><li>3–6 years of experience in engineering or a related area.</li><li>Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.</li><li>Experience automating software deployment using <strong>Puppet, Chef, and Ansible</strong>.</li><li>Proficiency with <strong>Jenkins</strong> for continuous integration.</li><li>Ability to work with a wide range of open-source technologies and tools.</li><li>Hands-on experience with systems and IT operations.</li><li>Data management skills with a focus on automation tools.</li><li>Proficient in revision control systems (branching and tagging strategies) using <strong>GitHub</strong>.</li><li>Experience provisioning and managing applications in virtual and cloud infrastructures (<strong>AWS and OpenStack preferred</strong>).</li><li>Strong scripting and coding background for deployment and network operations.</li><li>Containerization experience with <strong>Docker and Kubernetes</strong>.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Attributes</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Ability to work under immediate supervision and follow established guidelines.</li><li>Strong collaboration and communication skills.</li></ul>
