<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Network Operations Engineer</strong> to support the deployment and maintenance of distributed access architecture systems. This role involves managing virtual cable modem termination systems (vCMTS), remote PHY (RPHY) turn-ups, and ensuring high availability in a 24/7 operations environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Unix/Linux, scripting, and network troubleshooting.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Execute vCMTS platform stand-up, software installation, and system/network maintenance.</li><li>Implement changes, perform system upgrades, and manage risk through automation (Python, Bash scripting).</li><li>Handle incident mitigation and participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support.</li><li>Identify service-impacting trends and collaborate with development teams for long-term solutions.</li><li>Troubleshoot network and server hardware/software issues.</li><li>Work with Product and Project Management to integrate and operationalize new products.</li><li>Build and replace system hardware; define and monitor IT services.</li><li>Partner with internal engineering teams to improve product reliability and develop automation tools.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of production operations experience in a 24x7 environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash).</li><li>Proven experience in network troubleshooting and configuration (CCNA/JNCIA optional).</li><li>Experience with server hardware/software troubleshooting.</li><li>Familiarity with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, and Git is a plus.</li><li>Exposure to Juniper, Arista, or Cisco networking devices.</li><li>Ability to work after regular business hours, including weekends and holidays.</li></ul><p><br></p>
