Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Petersburg, Virginia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and providing exceptional support. This is a long-term contract position in the manufacturing industry, ideal for someone with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding service.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Respond promptly and courteously to inbound customer inquiries via phone or email.<br>• Provide accurate information about products and services to ensure customer satisfaction.<br>• Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy in data entry and order details.<br>• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues with a focus on achieving positive outcomes.<br>• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while maintaining a friendly and detail-oriented demeanor.<br>• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and improve service delivery.<br>• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures to assist customers effectively.<br>• Document customer interactions and transactions accurately in the system.<br>• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the customer experience.<br>• Follow company protocols and standards to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.
• Previous experience in a customer service or call center role is required.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.<br>• Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Familiarity with order entry systems and processes is highly desirable.<br>• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.<br>• Problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving customer satisfaction.<br>• Proficiency in using computers and basic software applications.<br>• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in customer service are a plus.
