The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in handling billing systems and claims appeals within a medical setting. Responsibilities: • Manage medical billing processes, including claims submission and payment tracking. • Conduct collections efforts to recover overdue payments and resolve outstanding balances. • Analyze and address medical denials by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. • Prepare and submit medical appeals to insurance providers for rejected claims. • Collaborate with hospital billing departments to ensure accurate documentation and coding. • Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) software for efficient claims management and record-keeping. • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and billing standards. • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies to resolve billing inquiries. • Monitor account statuses and generate regular reports for revenue cycle performance. • Identify opportunities to streamline billing workflows and improve operational efficiency.
