We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position is fully remote and offers a flexible schedule of approximately 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will excel in managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate employee records. Responsibilities:• Process payroll accurately and on time using relevant payroll systems and tools.• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.• Manage 401(k) and other benefits administration, including contributions and reporting.• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries.• Audit payroll data regularly to identify and correct errors.• Utilize accounting software systems to support payroll functions and reporting.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records.• Assist with additional payroll-related tasks as needed to support the team.• Provide expertise in using platforms such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce for payroll processing.

• Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably with ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce. • Familiarity with accounting software systems and payroll tools. • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for payroll calculations and reporting. • Ability to manage 401(k) and other benefits processes. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and addressing employee concerns. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
