We are looking for a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in Pasadena, California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of family law and civil litigation cases, providing expert legal counsel and strategic guidance to clients. The position begins on-site and may transition to a hybrid or remote arrangement based on experience.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle family law and civil litigation cases, ensuring effective legal representation and strategic case management.<br>• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, disclosures, settlement agreements, and discovery materials.<br>• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed memoranda to support case strategies.<br>• Develop case strategies that align with client interests and legal objectives.<br>• Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their legal concerns and providing clear communication.<br>• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient and accurate case handling.<br>• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and procedural changes to provide informed counsel.<br>• Manage case timelines and deadlines to ensure compliance and effective case progression.

<p>• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.</p><p>• Active membership with the CA state bar with proven experience in family law or civil litigation.</p><p>• Comprehensive knowledge of civil procedure, litigation strategies, and family law practices.</p><p>• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.</p><p>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.</p><p>• Familiarity with legal tools and software such as Adobe Pro, Westlaw, WordPerfect, and Essential Forms is preferred.</p><p>• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.</p><p>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build client trust and collaborate with team members.</p>
