HR Generalist
We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Paradise Valley, Arizona. In this role, you will provide essential human resources support across various functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits management, and HR systems administration. This position requires a proactive approach to ensuring efficient HR operations while maintaining compliance with employment laws and company policies.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation for new employees and employee transitions.<br>• Maintain accurate and secure employee records in both digital and physical formats, adhering to legal and company standards.<br>• Implement and communicate HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to employees and management.<br>• Manage HRIS platforms such as Paylocity, ensuring employee data accuracy and generating detailed reports on key HR metrics.<br>• Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with vendors to optimize HRIS functionality and workflow.<br>• Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking systems.<br>• Assist with employee relations by documenting concerns, conducting preliminary research, and escalating issues appropriately.<br>• Facilitate benefits enrollment and changes while educating employees on available options.<br>• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations through accurate recordkeeping and reporting.<br>• Participate in engagement initiatives and performance management processes to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.<br>• 2–5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.<br>• Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Paylocity and ADP, with strong data management skills.<br>• Solid understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and industry best practices.<br>• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.<br>• Experience with onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with generating HR reports.<br>• Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) or progress toward certification is preferred.
