Inventory Clerk
We are looking for a dedicated Inventory Clerk to join our team in Palo Alto, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing shipping, receiving, and logistical operations for a fast-paced office environment. As this is a Contract to permanent position, it offers a great opportunity for long-term career growth.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Receive, track, and distribute incoming mail and packages efficiently.<br>• Notify employees of package arrivals using Envoy and direct communication methods.<br>• Operate tools such as pallet jacks and forklifts to handle materials safely and effectively.<br>• Coordinate outgoing shipments through platforms like FedEx and UPS, ensuring timely deliveries.<br>• Provide logistical support to staff, including interoffice deliveries and supply distribution during downtime.<br>• Handle daily package volumes ranging from 10 to 50 items while serving approximately 150 employees.<br>• Maintain an organized workspace and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.<br>• Assist the real estate team with delivery and logistical tasks as needed.<br>• Document processes, create written instructions, and manage shared team pages for clarity and efficiency.<br>• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures while managing deliveries between office locations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, or material handling.<br>• Strong communication skills and tech-savviness to manage notifications and documentation effectively.<br>• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.<br>• Valid California driver’s license and comfort with running deliveries between office locations.<br>• Familiarity with shipping platforms like FedEx, UPS, and Envoy for streamlined operations.<br>• Proven ability to work independently while supporting multiple teams and locations.<br>• Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt to changing priorities in a high-energy environment.
