We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Barrington, Illinois. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing the accounts receivable process and ensuring accurate financial operations. Responsibilities:• Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payment collection.• Process customer invoices and reconcile accounts to ensure proper documentation and financial accuracy.• Handle cash activity, including payments and deposits, while maintaining detailed records.• Manage payment processing and promptly address any discrepancies or issues.• Utilize accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks, to maintain financial data and generate reports.• Perform general ledger entries and ensure compliance with company policies.• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing inquiries and improve workflows.• Conduct account reconciliations to verify balances and identify any variances.• Assist with data entry tasks related to financial transactions and records.• Support continuous improvement efforts in the accounts receivable function.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar financial roles. • Proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software systems. • Strong understanding of ERP systems and general accounting principles. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes. • Ability to handle cash transactions and payment processing efficiently. • Experience with account reconciliation and maintaining detailed financial records. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
