Human Resources (HR) Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance, and maintaining important records with utmost confidentiality. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in HR processes, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage employee onboarding processes, including conducting background checks and ensuring I-9 compliance.<br>• Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure all records are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.<br>• Handle confidential correspondence and safeguard sensitive HR information.<br>• Utilize HRIS systems to input, update, and retrieve employee data efficiently.<br>• Assist with ensuring compliance with HR regulations and company standards.<br>• Support administrative functions related to HR such as filing, document organization, and recordkeeping.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address HR-related inquiries and issues.<br>• Monitor and maintain HR compliance documentation as required.<br>• Provide assistance in organizing and maintaining confidential files and correspondence.<br>• Ensure smooth communication within the HR department and contribute to overall efficiency.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems to manage employee data and records.<br>• Experience with onboarding processes, including conducting background checks and verifying I-9 documentation.<br>• Strong knowledge of HR compliance requirements and standards.<br>• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.<br>• Skilled in maintaining organized personnel files and records.<br>• Familiarity with managing administrative tasks in an HR setting.<br>• Excellent communication skills to support team collaboration and address inquiries.<br>• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in all HR-related tasks.
