Payroll Administrator
We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Newport News, Virginia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, supporting HR-related tasks, and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the operations of a non-profit organization.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process full-cycle payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Manage multi-state payroll operations and address compliance requirements.<br>• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to handle payroll functions and maintain employee records.<br>• Verify payroll data, including hours worked, deductions, and benefits adjustments.<br>• Collaborate with HR to support employee onboarding and payroll-related inquiries.<br>• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee concerns with a high level of accuracy and care.<br>• Prepare payroll reports and documentation for management review.<br>• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll.<br>• Assist in audits and reviews of payroll processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration.<br>• Proficiency in full-cycle payroll processing for 101-500 employees.<br>• Hands-on experience with multi-state payroll management.<br>• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and its functionalities.<br>• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.<br>• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
