Administrative Coordinator
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Newport News, Virginia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and providing exceptional support to both employees and customers. This opportunity is ideal for someone who excels in organization, communication, and multitasking within a non-profit environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Organize and maintain file storage systems to ensure easy access and retrieval.<br>• Scan, categorize, and archive documents to preserve accuracy and completeness.<br>• Respond to employee inquiries and address concerns with professionalism.<br>• Manage the inbox by sorting, prioritizing, and responding to messages in a timely manner.<br>• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Answer inbound calls and route them appropriately, ensuring all inquiries are handled efficiently.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams to create and manage reports, documents, and communications.<br>• Perform paper filing tasks to keep physical records organized and up-to-date.<br>• Coordinate administrative tasks to support the overall goals of the organization.
• Proven experience in administrative assistance or related roles.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain file systems and manage inboxes.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<br>• Ability to scan and file documents accurately and efficiently.<br>• Customer service experience, with a focus on addressing concerns professionally.<br>• Comfortable answering inbound calls and managing inquiries.<br>• High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
