We are looking for a skilled Accounting Analyst to join our team in Newport Beach, California. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to apply their expertise in financial analysis and accounting practices within the import/export industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of commissions and override calculations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Analyze financial data to calculate commissions and overrides with precision and accuracy.<br>• Ensure the timely preparation and review of accounting reports and financial statements.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting tasks.<br>• Apply Salesforce tools to support financial tracking and reporting initiatives.<br>• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.<br>• Provide detailed insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.<br>• Support various accounting functions, including reconciliation and auditing.<br>• Assist in managing financial records and documentation with a high level of confidentiality.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.<br>• Proficiency in calculating commissions and overrides within complex financial systems.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.<br>• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms for financial tracking.<br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.<br>• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<br>• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
