This role focuses on managing and analyzing product costs, supporting financial decision-making, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a manufacturing environment and excel at leveraging data to provide actionable insights.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Maintain and evaluate standard costs for products and components, ensuring accuracy and relevance.</p><p>• Monitor manufacturing variances and inventory valuation, providing regular reports to stakeholders.</p><p>• Support month-end and year-end close processes related to cost accounting.</p><p>• Conduct detailed financial analyses to guide strategic business decisions.</p><p>• Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to identify opportunities for improvement.</p><p>• Prepare comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.</p><p>• Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.</p><p>• Perform budget-to-actual variance analyses and present findings to relevant teams.</p><p>• Collaborate with department leaders to align financial strategies and objectives.</p><p>• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Query, Excel, and Power BI to extract, analyze, and visualize financial data effectively.</p><p><br></p><p>Please reach out to Dawoud Kazimee with Robert Half to review this position. • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.<br>• A minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Query is preferred.<br>• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is required.<br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, paired with excellent communication skills.<br>• Expertise in standard cost accounting and cost analysis methodologies.<br>• Ability to create dashboards and automated reports for real-time decision-making.<br>• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and variance analysis.
