Financial Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work within the insurance industry, focusing on financial data analysis and audit processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a background in managing large datasets and resolving discrepancies.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Review invoices to ensure accuracy and identify any inconsistencies or discrepancies.<br>• Conduct audits of financial data to verify compliance with accounting standards and practices.<br>• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making processes.<br>• Utilize advanced Excel formulas to organize, manipulate, and interpret financial data.<br>• Collaborate with contractors and clients to resolve billing issues and ensure proper invoicing.<br>• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for auditing purposes.<br>• Provide support in budget preparation and capital management activities.<br>• Apply data mining techniques to enhance financial reporting and analysis.<br>• Work with accounting software systems to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.<br>• Generate detailed financial reports using tools such as Crystal Reports for stakeholders.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis or related field.<br>• Proficiency in accounting functions, including accrual accounting and auditing.<br>• Strong skills in handling large datasets and performing detailed audits.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including mastery of complex formulas.<br>• Familiarity with accounting software systems and CRM platforms.<br>• Experience in budget processes and capital management.<br>• Ability to apply data mining techniques for improved financial reporting.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
