We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Mountain View, California. As part of a dynamic environment within the museum, art gallery, botanical, or zoo industry, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to visitors and maintaining accurate records. This is a contract position offering an opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and engaging workspace.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and assist visitors with ticketing and general inquiries, ensuring a welcoming and attentive experience.<br>• Manage the processing and documentation of export and import paperwork with precision and adherence to protocols.<br>• Perform accurate numeric and alphanumeric data entry tasks to update and maintain records.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to create, manage, and organize essential documents.<br>• Oversee document control processes to ensure files are correctly maintained and easily accessible.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address visitor concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.<br>• Provide administrative support for front desk operations, ensuring smooth daily workflows.<br>• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the visitor experience.<br>• Monitor ticketing systems and ensure proper functioning and reporting of any discrepancies.
• Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in a front desk or ticketing environment.<br>• Familiarity with export and import documentation processes and best practices.<br>• Proficiency in numeric and alphanumeric data entry with high accuracy.<br>• Skilled in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for document creation and management.<br>• Strong organizational abilities, particularly in document control.<br>• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with visitors and team members.<br>• Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.<br>• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
