VP/Director of Finance
<p>We are looking for an experienced VP/Director of Finance to oversee and optimize financial operations for a part time (10 to 15 hours per month) contract position. Based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, this role involves leading budgeting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and managing cash flow forecasting to support organizational goals. If you have a strong background in finance and a proven ability to drive results, we encourage you to apply.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.</p><p>• Oversee month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.</p><p>• Develop and refine budget processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.</p><p>• Prepare comprehensive financial reports that support strategic decision-making.</p><p>• Monitor and manage cash flow forecasts to maintain financial stability.</p><p>• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage accounting operations and ensure accuracy.</p><p>• Leverage Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and create detailed reports.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.</p><p>• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and implement solutions to drive profitability.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain accurate records.</p>
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role.<br>• Expertise in managing annual budgets and overseeing month-end close processes.<br>• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and cash flow forecasting.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.<br>• Demonstrated ability to refine and enhance budget processes.<br>• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.<br>• Strong communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting financial insights.<br>• Proven track record of ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining financial accuracy.
