Human Resources (HR) Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position requires a proactive individual who excels at managing various HR-related tasks, including audits, updates, and presentations. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy contributing to organizational success, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct thorough audits of I-9 forms, ensuring compliance with legal standards.<br>• Format job descriptions into the designated template provided by the organization.<br>• Review and organize personnel files, transitioning them into electronic formats.<br>• Present pre-created HR presentations effectively to team members and stakeholders.<br>• Research job boards to identify opportunities for posting and enhancing visibility.<br>• Post job openings on external platforms to attract individuals with relevant experience.<br>• Create memos to document job changes and ensure accurate record-keeping.<br>• Assist with additional HR projects as needed to support the department's goals.
• Proven experience in human resources administration or a related field.<br>• Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) for efficient data management.<br>• Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and best practices.<br>• Expertise in auditing HR documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.<br>• Ability to research and utilize job boards effectively for recruitment.<br>• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.<br>• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage team members.<br>• Proficiency in creating and formatting documents with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
