<p>We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting various accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in bookkeeping and financial management in the construction industry.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process payout applications with precision, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.</p><p>• Maintain and organize permitting documentation to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.</p><p>• Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial tracking.</p><p>• Collaborate with project managers and external stakeholders to ensure documentation adheres to business and regulatory standards.</p><p>• Assist in month-end closing procedures and prepare financial reports.</p><p>• Perform general administrative tasks to support the accounting and finance team.</p><p>• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.</p><p>• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and streamline bookkeeping processes.</p>
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.<br>• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.<br>• Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.<br>• Familiarity with local, state, and federal permitting requirements.<br>• Effective communication and collaboration skills.<br>• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
