<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Lead <strong>quarterly portfolio valuations</strong> in line with ASC 820.</li><li>Build and refine valuation models, ensuring robust and defensible data.</li><li>Partner on <strong>fund financials</strong>, quarterly closes, audits, and LP reporting.</li><li>Review <strong>capital calls, distributions, and cash management</strong> across funds.</li><li>Support <strong>board materials</strong> and investor presentations with accurate fund data.</li><li>Mentor junior staff and contribute to <strong>process improvements</strong> and scaling initiatives.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years in <strong>public accounting (VC, PE, or asset management clients)</strong> or in-house fund accounting.</li><li>CPA preferred (or progress toward).</li><li>In-depth knowledge of <strong>ASC 946</strong> (investment companies) and <strong>ASC 820</strong> (fair value).</li><li>Clear communicator with strong organizational skills and a <strong>team-first mindset</strong>.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.</li></ul><p> <strong>The Perks</strong></p><ul><li>Base salary <strong>$125k–$150k + bonus up to 20%</strong>.</li><li><strong>Phantom equity</strong> program offering a carry-style long-term incentive.</li><li>100% employer-paid <strong>medical, dental, and vision</strong> (for employees & dependents).</li><li><strong>401(k) with match</strong>.</li><li><strong>Unlimited PTO</strong> plus generous parental leave.</li><li>Hybrid schedule in Menlo Park with a <strong>collaborative, high-caliber team</strong>.</li><li>Ongoing <strong>career development, mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership</strong>.</li></ul>
