Systems Administrator
Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022). Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services. Perform regular system updates, patch management, and backups. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across the organization. Maintain and support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Implement and maintain security protocols, including antivirus, firewalls, and access controls. Monitor system performance and generate reports on system health and usage. Collaborate with other IT staff to support end-user needs and resolve escalated issues. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
3+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar IT role. Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Office 365) is a plus. Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, LAN/WAN). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. <br> Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate CompTIA Server+ or Network+ VMware Certified detail oriented (VCP) ITIL Foundation (optional)
