HR Generalist
<p>We are looking for a part-time HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Madison, Wisconsin. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can manage a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on company operations while working collaboratively with employees and leadership.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Respond to employee handbook-related questions and provide clear guidance on policies.</p><p>• Oversee recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.</p><p>• Provide support during workforce reductions, offering assistance and guidance to affected employees.</p><p>• Monitor and respond to inquiries in the general HR mailbox within 24 hours during core business hours.</p><p>• Foster effective communication across all levels of the organization to build strong relationships.</p><p>• Practice active listening to understand employee concerns and provide appropriate solutions.</p><p>• Prioritize and organize multiple HR tasks to ensure efficient workflow.</p><p>• Maintain and update HR records and systems for accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Collaborate with leadership to implement HR strategies that align with company goals</p>
<p>• Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources roles.</p><p>• Proficiency in employee relations and HR administration.</p><p>• Familiarity with onboarding processes and benefit functions.</p><p>• Experience working with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).</p><p>• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.</p><p>• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities to manage multiple responsibilities.</p><p>• Demonstrated active listening skills to address employee concerns effectively.</p><p>• Ability to work within core business hours and respond promptly to inquiries.</p><p><br></p><p>If you are interested in this role, please give Kara a call at 920-666-6382. </p>
